![]() When waking from sleep video is displayed via the Display-Port after about 10 seconds. The problem is not apparent when putting the Mac Mini to sleep, only cold-boot. Once I have output via HDMI and am logged in I am then able to switch to the Display Port input on the monitor and run with display port output. ![]() It then boot's to the black screen with Apple logo and takes slightly longer to boot (presumably checking the file system), but there is video. The only option is to press the power button on the Mac Mini for 5 seconds to shut it down. I know there should be output because the LED on the Mac Mini is lit solid at this point. If I cold boot using HDMI, most of the time I get video output, occasionally there is none. Display-Port v1.2 is enabled on the monitor (it makes no difference if it's enabled or disabled). Im using a Dell provided display-port to display-port lead with no adapters, one end is plugged in to the Thunderbolt/Display-Port on the Mac Mini and the other is in the Display-Port on the monitor. Problem = On a cold boot I get no video output via the Display Port. OS = Yosemite 10.10.1 all fully up to date with no software updates available. Computer = Late 2014 Mac Mini 2.8GHz Core i5 with Intel Iris 1536 MB Graphics.
